Located in Assinie, a strip of land between sea and lagoon on the Ivorian coast, this cabin is a tribute to Ivorian style.
The perspective between bedroom and bathroom is emphasized by the use of the same stone floor and a sliding door. On either side of this two bespoke closets in iroko, a local wood, as well as two wooden niches also in wood, featuring large antique wooden hornbills, the mythical bird of the Senoufo ethnic group, widespread in Côte d’Ivoire. The wooden bed, wrought-iron chairs and handles are designed and signed by Ebur.
In the bathroom, the choice of materials was also based on a desire for simplicity, with white tiles set off by orange-lacquered wooden and rope mirrors, also custom-made for this project.
