Candle Kids opened its first location on rue des Couronnes, between the Bellevilleand Pyrennées districts. In a minimalist, Japanese-inspired ambience, the architects chose to preserve the beauty of the site’s architectural elements by enlarging the openings. Emphasizing the heights, they chose to sublimate the stone and add simple, warm materials such as the oak found throughout the space, and the white linen curtains that soften the rough character of the space and give visitors a feeling of home.
