Saint-Germain apartment

Paris, France

Located on Boulevard Saint-Germain, in a building dating from the 15th century, the Saint-Germain apartment is a warm and comfortable cocoon. This 40 m² space has been completely redesigned to gain space and brightness. From the entrance, a perspective is offered overlooking the living room through the sleeping area of this apartment. The white kitchen punctuated with wooden handles is open to the living room. A small dining table space has been fitted out with a bench seat and a low bookcase runs along the wall of the living room, adorned with vague Ebur handles. The sleeping area is a monochrome pink taking up the undulations of the handles and underlines the feminine spirit of this apartment. Overall, the architects have chosen to highlight the historic character of the apartment by exposing the beautiful wooden beams and posts while giving it a touch of modernity through the materials and colors chosen for the tailor-made fittings.
